0311 Reservist not in a Infantry Unit? info

Can an 0311 Marine Reservist, or 03 Marine Reservist, be in a Reserve unit that is not a Infantry unit? I have heard that this is possible. But, it seems kind of a no no to me. Anyone got any info on this?

Lamm Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They\'re aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense.
