| As with anything, it depends on the mission of the vehicle. Tracked is slower, but the tracks are less vunerable to small arms fire and are harder to damage in general. If you wanted something for Urban fighting, I think I'd lean more toward tracked for the added protection. Also, I understand that the Stryker (wheeled AFV) has some terrain limitations that tanks don't have.
