Just met a chap at work.
he's 102 years old and was a navigator on Mosquitos.
He flew night intruder missions and after one mission, they had shot down a nightfighter over Berlin and had to make it back on one engine before crash landing and both walking away from the wreck.
His pilot and him got the DFC for that mission.
