Alright, I found some more info, it was the Arisaka Type 99 series rifle that was equipped with an anti-aircraft sight. Although not specifically designed as an anti-aircraft weapon, who in the world (aside from Annie Oakley

) could shoot an aircraft down with a bolt action rifle? The Japanese sure came up with some doozies during the war.
