The only thing true is that they were exposed (by Electronic Intefada). I you read the
emails it is not about distorting the facts but correcting them. I quote part of the first email: "What if you could
ensure accuracy and
fairness directly in one of the Internet's most visited Web sites, without relying on reporters, editors or publishers? In fact, you can." They were faulted for working off-line, conspiring to make changes in a way that goes against the democratic culture of Wikipedia. They were not faulted for distorting the facts.
On the other hand there is a complaint to IRS against Electronic Intifada:
1 The presentation of viewpoints
unsupported by facts is a significant part of the organization's communications.
2 The facts that purport to support the viewpoint are
distorted.
3 The organization's presentations make substantial use of
inflammatory and disparaging terms and express conclusions more on the basis of emotion than of objective evaluations.
