Try telling that to the person who is the victim or their family.
I would say that attitude is typical of what is causing the problem.
As we say in Oz, "Ahh, fcukit,.... I'm alright Jack".
28/100ths percent is still 1 person in 400. I'd hate to think that in my small town we would lose 5 people a year to firearms.
The last firearm related deaths in this town were two suicides one about 2004, one in 1964, and a murder in 1962.
