Do yall think this is a good enough letter?

Dear Mr. Knight,

I am trying to persuade you into starting a JROTC program (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) here are a few reasons: Junior ROTC is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Its focus is reflected in its mission statement, "To motivate young people to be better citizens." It prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school, and it provides instruction and rewarding opportunities that will benefit the student, community, and nation.

PROMOTES PATRIOTISM
DEVELOPS INFORMED AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS
PROMOTES HABITS OF ORDERLINESS AND PRECISION
DEVELOPS A HIGH DEGREE OF PERSONAL HONOR, SELF-RELIANCE, INDIVIDUAL DISCIPLINE
PROMOTES AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE BASIC ELEMENTS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL SECURITY
DEVELOPS RESPECT FOR AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEED FOR CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY

DEVELOPS LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL
PROVIDES AN ALTERNATIVE TO GANGS

It's funded by the department of defense like uniforms and things like that some programs include :Rifle Team, Drill Team and much more. There are many types of JROTC like Marine Corps (MCJROTC) or Young Marines, Naval like Sea Cadets (NJROTC), Army (AJROTC) and AirForce (AFJROTC). Someone also informed me that the easeist way to get this program is to fill out applications and the fastest one to accept is the one that you get. But I know its not that easy so here are some links: www.jrotc.org
