Currahee is in the Cherokee Tongue for "Stand Alone".

I think that Currahee is also the battlecry for the 506th infantry regiment.

"We stand together -- then, now, and always." is the complete motto for the unit.

i remember Currahee from Band of Brothers. They shouted it sometimes, as a battle cry so I think it's the motto for the 506.

Yeah, I recently read the book over holiday and it's definetly Cheroke for "We stand alone"
