Well first of all every male Finnish citizen must join the military either, aiforce, navy, marines or army and you have to be there for a minimum of 6 months and maximum is 12 months, in 6 months you can become no more than a basic jaeger but in 12 months you can become either 2.nd Lieutenant or Sergeant.
For me the case is 6 months so I'm going to become a basic private or (jaeger as it's called in the Finnish Military)
And I chose the marines because I wanted a challenge and they have the third toughest education in Finland. The only ones that are tougher are the divers and paratroopers. And then again I have some pressure on me because both my brothers are Marines and they both have the green beret...
