The cobra is not modular as it has a steel cast hull. This means each type needs its own hull for the task reqiured, not a swap of a modular component. Also a 4.8 ton 4x4 can not be used for all the tasks that any army may need to complete. There is a good reason why only the country that made them (Turkey) and Nigeria use them in numbers in their armys. Other users have cobras in the police and in Georgia's case, 100 with the interior ministry (but 2 lost to russia and unknown number captured by South Ossetia).
