My name is Tim. I'm 18 years old, living in Vermont, USA, and I'm very interested in joining the Marine Corps.

I haven't completely ruled out the other branches, but the greater sense of unity, discipline, and cohesion I get from the USMC is a large part of their draw for me. By no means do I intend to imply that the other branches are not unified, disciplined, or cohesive. I just see the USMC as more rigidly so.

I registered here so I could ask a few questions, but I'll save those for the proper forum.
