Maybe (2) squadrons of super Block-II F-22s with powerful gas eating V8's? I can see why you would want a fighter with range just in case some really northern targets needed to be taken out.
I always thought about how bad the US armed forces would be if China launch a surprise attack against South Korea and Japan at the same time. It would make the Japanese attack against at Pearl Harbor look like a walk in the park. We would be hurting for staging bases for sure not to mention lost personnel and assets. I for one would like to see South Korea maintain a powerful air force and air defense network. North Korea is chump changes compared to what's above it, I know better.
