Just a point of clarification:
As the article states: The Blue Dogs opposed the Bill because the 1 year free tuition program wasn't paid for, a violation of the pay-as you-go-rule. They were not opposing the war bill outright.
And I thank them for doing so. The GOP congress made a terrible mess in the past by increasing spending without planning for paying for it. If I didn't like it when the GOP did this, I sure as hell don't like it when the Dems pull the same stunt. It was the democrats who reinstated pay-as-you-go last year, they should be following it religiously. In fact it shouldn't be a House rule, but a Federal law.
