I don't understand these types of people. I strongly disagreed with the decision to go to war in Iraq - but I don't blame the Marines, only the administration that controls them. If it weren't for the Marines, I don't think Code Pink would still be able to protest in the first place. I can't believe they want people to "impede passively or actively" the recruiters. As though some stoned University of California students in all pink are going to dissuade someone from joining the Corps.

“But you don’t have to join the Marines from our town.”

This sentence in particular is annoying me. Their town? So if someone who lived in Berkeley wanted to join, they'd have to take a longer drive, simply because some Pink folks think they represent the whole town? Total BS.
