Why would anyone want to spend $100 for a POS? I have no outstanding desire to own a gun, but if I did it wouldn't go out and buy the K-MART red dot special especially with a piece of equipment I might have to rely on to save my life.
Worse of all are these $120-$150 Saturday night specials, some of which are so shoddy they are actually dangerous to the shooter (Bryco Arms).

A used Ruger GP-100 can be had for about $150 - $200. While a revolver, don't discount a weapon just because it's inexpensive on the billfold. That GP-100 will last forever without a hiccup.
But I agree with all the rest! Might as well invest in penny stocks in that one-in-a-million chance of a winner. Vegas has better odds than some firearms out there (Star, anyone?).
I'll keep my $99 and put it towards some ammo for my Kimber.
