| It's stuff like this that makes me hate living in the 21st Century. I like the 1940's because almost everyone in America was hell-bent on taking the axis powers down.
Now with draft-dodgers and whatnot, I'd like to quote my what my stepdad would say if he ever met someone who would go to Canada to avoid the draft, "You can go, but I'll be right behind you to shoot you in the back, coward."
He also says, "You can say what you want, but it when you start to spit at the soldiers who were drafted to go and chances are didn't have a choice, that's just plain disrespectful and wrong. You might as well go burn an American Flag and start speaking Arabic while you're at it." |
