Judge Says Hamza Lied
Updated:00:42, Friday January 19, 2007
<H2>Radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza has been made liable for a £1m legal aid bill after a judge accused him of lying during his trial at the Old Bailey last year.

Hamza was jailed for inciting murder
If he cannot pay the bill the Legal Services Commission could seize his assets.
Lord Justice Hughes said he was making an order for the recovery of the full costs of his defence because of the "inaccurate and false information" Hamza had provided the court about his financial interests.
The order means that the Legal Services Commission will be able to apply to seize a £220,000 house in Greenford, west London.
