But it's not that simple in terms of getting it.
It depends on where you apply but if you want to get a tourist visa in South Korea and you are a South Korean citizen...
1) You must show evidence that you have a stable job.
2) You must show all your tax records for the past 12 months.
3) You must show that you have some kind of property or other reasons that would convince the immigration officer that you will return to South Korea.
That process will take over a year.

So it's not like you hand over a hundred bucks and bam you're set.
The funny thing is the stuff designed to keep terrorists out don't work for anything but keep out people who want to be lawful and get jobs and work in teh US
