Why are there always bad feelings between the French and the Americans? Don't tell me it started with the Iraqi war. A silly illustration of background anti-French sentiment in the US is a video tape for kids, called "VeggiTales - Josh and the Big Wall", published by Big Idea Productions. This is a well-thinking tape for kids, talking about the Bible story of Josh horns. My kids love it, in particular a scene where the Israeli, represented by little vegetables, start walking around the big walls and the enemy drops cans of slimy soda on their heads. What they find really funny is that the people on the wall are silly green peas who talk with, guess what, a french accent. And then, in case you did not get it, they call each other Philippe and Jean-Claude, which everybody knows were widely used first names in the middle east at the time of Josh.

First off, this guy knows absolutely nothing about VeggiTales. If he did, he'd know that those peas are in every story Big Idea does, and that using them as the Judeans was just filling up characters. Those little peas are hilarious, and they've done good guy roles too, yes still with their French accents. This ain't being anti-French, for God sakes the Tomatoes name is Bob!
