Perhaps 'questioned' is a little strong. It's more that his role in the development of combined arms theory has been downplayed. Part of this reason is due to the 'arrangement' he came to with Guderian that the latter make particular mention of Liddell Hart's influence in his memoirs. This nod to Liddell Hart's 'greater influence' over Guderian only ever appeared in the English language volumes. Liddell Hart himself admitted this 'connivance' in his posthumous memoirs. The added paragraph ended:

"So I owe many suggestions of our further development to Captain Liddell Hart."

As for your 2nd question I think it's largely impossible to say even if direct evidence is available. One can make a good guess and a person can say that person A influenced him/her more than person B but in truth there is no real way of being absolutely sure.
