Anyhow, Wednesday is called 'hump day" because the average/most common work schedule being for most folks is from Monday through Friday; so Wednesday is considered the hump of the week (ie. the middle), therefore making it "hump day". As for most people getting laid in the weekend, hmmmmm.....I haven't researched that yet.
