In many ways, I think Globalization could be a factor in why the author wrote this. If you ever get the chance, read Freedmans book, "The World is Flat". It explains in detail on how we are outsourcing our country around the world.
I never really liked that title anyways. Someone always wants to push the guy off the top of the mountain when he is there.
