| I think people should leave things alone and let the stories stand, many of these remarks can be made for the people that make them, rather than the efforts of the fighters protecting the bombers and normally they have book coming out on these matters and they just hope that by causing a fuss the sales will increase. What ever happened are they saying that no bombers were hit by Ack Ack while they were under protection. The Germans had nearly a million people engaged in Ack Ack trying to fight of Allied aircraft
