| Sounds Great!! Older recruits can bring a little maturity to the hotheads in a unit and not every job requires an 18 year old. Life experience doesn't go astray either.
When I did my corps training in the RAN we had a 26 year old in our group, I'm sure he was a role model to all of us. We all thought that he was as old as Methuselah, but whenever we got in a jam, we looked to "Pop" and he always pulled us through. Old is Good! |
