BAGHDAD - A US soldier died near the northern city of Mosul in an accident
involving a Humvee, the US military reported on Sunday.
It said the accident took place on Saturday but gave no further details.
The fatality brings the number of US servicemen killed to 2,707, according
to an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
