Another small tank

Now just a little bit of information about the above tank, this is a Matilda Mk1. It was like most British Tanks of their day, heavily armoured, and under gunned and very slow. In 1940 around Arras it launched a counter attack against the Germans and gave them a bit of a scare they found the only way they could stop it was to shoot of the tracks. The British with their pop gun could not stop the Germans, but the did kill the German Commanders No 2. The German Commander was Rommel and the chap leading the British counter attack , well that was Montgomery. The one thing that this attack did do was to make the Germans stop for a few days while they asses the situation which gave the British Army time to to slip out of Dunkirk.
