Should we not discuss something because it may cast an unfavorable light on American history, despite the historical facts? Are we not allowed to discuss our bad decisions so that we never repeat them again? The US is a great country, but we aren't above mistakes, esp when human *******s are involved. It's not anti-American to discuss the past or past events that may be negative.
