| | Lt, you lucky lucky dog. "The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental." - John Steinbeck |

Jimmie johnson got lucky in the 500 thats was a great race tough luck for Ryan Newman and Casey Mears but it shows that theres no problem with Charger its race strategy thats wins races not the car. Dale jr fans it will be a long year again so hang in there ok be paitent and he will deliver win. Learn from the mistakes of the past. |

Bump. As the TV ad goes (given the results this past weekend in Richmond): "Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunior!" ![]() Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" -- Isaiah 6:8 |

If Gordon hadn't had his distributor go on him, both the 24 and the 20 could have given Jr. a run for the money. Just wait till darlington this weekend.

I'm stuck at work tomorrow night, but at least I'll be able to watch the race at Darlington. I've been fortunate -- went there for the Southern 500 in 2002 and 2004. Here are pics (and story) from my 2002 trip: http://www.passatworld.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=91010 |

Gordon... blecht, I can't even type the "Rainbow Warrior"'s name, and btw what an appropriate title for the pouf, without feeling violently ill. Junior earned his ride. For a short time I was a tire tosser on a late model team in Nashville and I saw Jr and his crew make fools of themselves as they learned the hard way how to win at this sport. Daddy didn't buy him his ride, he earned it. During the week he and his crew worked at Dale Earnhardt Chevy in Nashville and raced on the weekends. I will always respect his dad for how he handled it and his son for sucking it up and making it happen. |

You know, that doesn't surprise me that Big E would do that. Something about him always screamed "old school" to me, and that included how he was going to let Little E earn his way up.
