by congress i refer to lower house, sorry for that misconception
also i cannot really find a coupel ultra-liberlists in the congress, instead i see a bunch of democracts who are willing to cooperate with republicans on many issues
and thanks to today's debate, you learned that congress is not full of extremists, but mostly great and intelligent people who are wiling to work with opposite side of people for the interest of americans
eg, Dubai port deal, both parties worked together to finally allow an american "entity" to control the ports in the end.
