You might want to double-check that -- I was always under the impression you had to finish out college w/ ROTC or go through one of the service academies to get your commission.

EDIT: so I looked on NMMI's site -- it's confusing. They say you get your commission after two years, but all the ROTC scholarships I looked at on their site said you had to have a bachelor's degree, and I don't think a junior college can issue a bachelor's degree. So your best bet is to email the ROTC contacts at those respective schools and get the straight deal from them.
