In the late 30s, Fleet Admiral Yamamoto told the Japanese leadership: "you cannot invade mainland U.S. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Today, perhaps that would be a thermonuclear missile behind every blade of grass, but the outcome would be the same.

And from an economic standpoint, if China invaded the U.S., they would lost their largest trading partner. An economic disaster of biblical proportions for China.

Speeches like this are designed to keep the hard liners in check by promising them war and mayhem "someday."

This individual has about as much credibiity as Howard Dean.
