U.S. base in Mosul draws insurgent fire, two injured info

MOSUL, Iraq - (AP) Insurgents fired mortar shells or rockets Saturday at a U.S. base at Mosul's airport, wounding two soldiers, the U.S. military said. The attack occurred at 6:50 a.m. at Forward Operating Base Courage, the command said. The identities of the wounded soldiers and their condition were not released. Up to five explosions could be heard at the base.
