No other country on earth, even UK or Russia, can do the same.
China can maintain only 1000-5000 troops as far as 1000 miles of her shores for a very limited time. (less than 6 months)!
That is not my assumption or imagination. I actually read about it back at Iran (my father was taking courses at Defense and command university and I found this sort of info in his books)!
It is only the US which can send 150000 troops 8000 miles away and keep them up and running for years with enough air support, ammo and ration supplies.
(however in Vietnam the number of US troops exceeded more than 500K and it remained the same for 7 years) |
No doubt but he is not talking about invading he is talking about the use of biological weapons to kill of vast numbers of people before invading.
I personally dont think it would be hard to hit the general population with a WMD but I think he has over looked the bit where many if not all nuke installations are reasonably well protected from such events.
I really think we are in agreement on this one though.
