BASRA, Iraq - (AP) A British patrol was attacked Sunday by a
roadside bomb in the southern city of Basra, and two British soldiers were
injured, police said.
Iraqi police Capt. Mushtaq Khazim said the British vehicle was
destroyed by the bomb but had no further details.
In London, the Ministry of Defense confirmed there had been an
incident involving British forces but a spokesman said he did not have any
details.
