| I have been on both M109A3 when I was an LT and MLRS as a Battery Commander. Two different systems with two different missions in life. Even the leadership of the soldiers is different between the both of them.
With all that said however, I do like the MLRS for kicking the crap out of a gridsquare, but I do like the M109 for getting the job in the close fight. Also, I would rather work with the 13B soldier vs. the 13M.
