| Give me a cannon any day over MLRS. Sure you can take out an entire gridsquare. You rarely have to swat a fly with a sledgehammer though. Tube artillery is precise and accurate. I'll go with that.
As for howitzers, yes, the M109 series is my favorite. I prefer SPs as do most artillerymen I've ever met. Hogs are alot safer than pigs (towed artillery for you non-redlegs).
