I find it odd that the article you so artfully copied and pasted went into a great deal of detail about the benefits of Bishop's government. Which if I recall had just been violently overthrown with the murder of Bishop and the massacre of a number of protestors.
I also find the idea that the invasion was used in order to supress the Black Power movement simply laughable.
Amazingly, despite the supposedly complete destruction of the nation the US invasion brought, Grenada is economically better off then much of the Carribean population.
