I am basing the limited amout I know off short piece written by one of the medical students on the island who essentially claimed that when the coup took place they didnt feel threatened at all and were quite happy to continue studies however not long after that the "new" government seemed to get quite paranoid and things went down hill from there intil they were happy to see the US forces roll in.

I have no knowledge or interest in Grenada beyond that.
